day 90

day 89:
Galatians 5:19-21
The acts of the sinful nature are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.
If these sins are so obvious then why do we not recognize them in our own lives? Pure ignorance. Hear no evil, see no evil, speak no evil . . . . It's not like God has exceptions to these things hidden in the Bible somewhere. He doesn't. Rules are rules. There's no fine print saying these sins are actually okay.
Galatians 5:22-26
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the sinful nature with its passions and desires. Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit. Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying each other.
The most commonly known part of this passage (verses 22-23) apply to every aspect of life. Ever single one. It's up to us to ask God to help us with them. Prayer requests?
