day 87

Philemon verses 17-19
So if you consider me a partner, welcome him as you would welcome me. If he has done you any wrong or owes you anything, charge it to me. I, Paul, am writing this with my own hand. I will pay it back--not to mention that you owe me your very self.
Although Paul was writing to Philemon about a runaway slave being returned, I think there is another way to view this text. If you are partners with Christ, you should welcome people the way Christ did. If they've in any way wronged you or owe you something, tell Jesus. He'll take care of it. Jesus will pay you back accordingly. Because of all he has done, we owe ourselves to him. It's the least we could do.
Have an enjoyable weekend. Prayer requests?
