Even if you're not much of a reader, when there's a good book you get sucked into it. Such it is with THE Good Book.
2 Timothy 3:14-17 But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have become convicted of, because you know those from whom you learned it, and how from infancy you have known the holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good word.
Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.
James 1:22-24 Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. Anyone who listens to the word but does not do whatdo what it says is like a man who looks at his face in the mirror and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like.
