Will you always get the answer you want when you pray? No, because if God gave us everything we wanted, that wouldn't be love. He gives us what we NEED. HE knows what we need. Are you always gonna hear the answer right away? No, because God's timing is the best. Things happen on GOD time. When we get in the way of His plan, He still works in His plan for us. Jeremiah 29:11-14a "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you," declares the Lord, "and will bring you back from captivity."
Psalm 42:11 Why are you downcast, O my soul? Why so disturbed within me? Put your
hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God.
Psalm 119:71-72 It was good for me to be afflicted so that I might learn your decrees. The law from your mouth is more precious to me than thousands of pieces of silver and gold.
Matthew 14:38-31 "Lord, if it's you, Peter replied, "tell me to come to you on the water." "Come," he said. Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus. But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, he cried out, "Lord, save me!" Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him. "You of little faith, he said, "why did you doubt?"
When we are weak, our God is strong. When we are strong, our God is still stronger.
