James 1:19-20
My dear brothers, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, for man's anger does not bring about the righteous life that God desires.
This passage is pretty polite. Too much of the time it is taken lightly, as a suggestion. Really, this is a command for us to be following. Yes, God is patient with us and slow to anger. That's how we should be. But God also has a breaking point. I'd rather not see God's angry side coming down on me. Am I alone in that? Now, I mean this in the holiest and most godly way possible: Shut up and listen! We need a Biblical muzzle. Honestly.
